Yes, you can engage in many everyday activities while using the tVNS® device, but some activities should be avoided for safety reasons.

  • Working at a desk
  • Light household chores

Activities to Avoid: #

  • Driving or Operating Heavy Machinery – Some users may experience mild dizziness, drowsiness, or changes in alertness, which could impair their ability to drive safely.
  • Strenuous Exercise – While light activities are fine, high-intensity workouts or activities that could cause excessive sweating may affect electrode contact and stimulation effectiveness.
  • Swimming or Showering – The device is not waterproof, so it must not be exposed to water.
